Get Involved

GU Women in Leadership (GUWIL) has many opportunities for leadership. It is part of our mission to help hone leadership skills among our members as well as create learning experiences which foster personal and professional growth.

The GUWIL Mentorship Program matches freshmen with juniors and sophomores with seniors. This program’s mission is to connect members of the GUWIL community who share a common interest or skillset and foster relationships within GUWIL so that our members have a “go-to” person on campus for careers, connections, and community.

The matching process is lengthy as we strive to ensure that every pair is built on a solid foundation. Requiring very little time, this program is an amazing resource to our members. Mentors and mentees decide on their own how much time they would like to dedicate to one another. For the connections that really hit it off, we expect them to stay in touch far past graduation.

Mentorship application for the Fall 2020 semester has ended. Check back in spring to hear about opportunities to enter the program. We will be matching people together into pairs or “family groups” by interests and skillsets. You’ll be able to offer/receive career advice and bond with the GUWIL community. This is a great way to meet new people during virtual learning.
